The heavily rockered tips and flat section of the ski under the foot make the ski super playful and be able to pivot on a dime, perfect for tree skiing and deep powder snow when manoeuvrability is paramount. Did we mention this ski can do it all? Backwards. This year the Lumberjack has been moved in the to Majesty’s Wooden Line, adding a deluxe veneer topsheet to the ski for a unique finish. Riding Style The Lumberjack is a super playful, soft and surfy backcountry freestyle ski, This ski is comfortable using powder snow as its canvas and is super capable skiing forwards or backwards, in the air on in bottomless powder and thick trees. The soft flex also lends well to the occasional buttery smooth run through the park as well! Shape The Lumberjack is a wide waisted directional twin tip, perfect for surfy powder riding. Broad un-tapered tips and tails give the skis massive flotation in powder snow and a surfy feeling. Profile The skis are flat underfoot and have 300 mm of rocker in the tips and tails. This means the ski is exceptional at pivoting in the powder and has flotation guaranteed through powder, perfect for tree skiing or BC kickers. Flex The Lumberjack has a flex rating of 4 out of 10 on Majesty’s scale. A soft jibby flex perfect for buttering, smearing turns and a general surfy pow feeling. If you decide to the take the Lumberjack into the park or off BC kickers the soft flex combined with the pivot friendly profile will help with landings, redirects and nose and tail butters. Construction The Lumberjack uses Majesty’s premier tip-to-tail wood core with full vertical sidewalls and their fastest base.
